Fripad! Get It?
I guess this could become a regular thing? Depending on how it’s received.
I got an iPad for my 40th birthday last month.
So I’ve been fiddling around with Sketchbook Pro. I think it’s safe to say I don’t think I’ll be able to not draw my comic with ink. You just don’t get that sensitivity with a stylus.
But you never know.
So here is a quick sketch of ‘Perriwinkle’ I did on the train. Took me approx 25 mins.

Hey, nice!
Thanks, Carlo.
I drew it on my iPad. Heck, I even posted it from my iPad using the Word Press app.
It’s a powerful thing, but not scratchy/loose enough for me. No pressure sensitivity. However, I could see it possibly as useful for colouring inked strips.
ROLFE
I wanted to use it for coloring, but haven’t been too impressed with it. I bought sketchbook pro and attempted to import a file. Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve been disappointed with it as a drawing device. Then again, I haven’t produced anything on it that remotely looks good.
Have not tried importing a black and White original yet.
Will do and report back.
Thanks for commenting, Stephen.
